Playground Maintenance Day

The Parish Council is responsible for the maintenance of the playground, but much of the maintenance is simply a question of manpower. On 5th May 2007 we had over 20 volunteers help to paint wood preserve on all the wood – a lot of wood. It was a beautifully sunny day, and tea, coffee and biscuits ensured that no one tired and that we worked until the job was finished. Thank you to everyone who helped out on the day, especially all the young people.
